Prayer

To whichever god exists, and to the part of you within me —

I know:
I will die
My thoughts will cease, and this is inescapable
I have dreams that I may choose to pursue before then
These dreams are more important than any temptation
Many have sacrificed much more and achieved dreams much greater than mine, and many have had their dreams snatched from them.
I promise:
I will honor them by fighting for mine and helping others achieve theirs.
With all this in mind, my path begins to reveal itself, and I move forward, upon my feet, upon my honor.
